Educational Innovation, Early Childhood Education and Education Funding

This week's Pennsylvania Newsmakers is devoted to educational innovation. In the first part of the program, we discuss the use of technology with Dr. Nick Trombetta of the Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School and Kim Coon of the State System of Higher Education, who describe their organizations' use of the Internet to deliver a variety of educational programs. In the second part of our show, Joan Benso from the Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children talks about a variety of initiatives devoted to early childhood education, and Joe Bard from The Pennsylvania Association of Rural and Small Schools provides insights about property tax reform and other elements of Gov. Rendell's education program. Terry Madonna is host of the show.
