DEP Secretary McGinty, and Medical Assistance Update

This week's Pennsylvania Newsmakers features an exclusive Newsmaker interview with Kathleen McGinty, the state's new Secretary of Environmental Protection. The Secretary discusses the environmental priorities of the Rendell administration, including the Pennsylvania Energy Harvest program, Brownfield Development, and land use and water issues. In the second half of the program, Carolyn Scanlan, The President and CEO of the Hospital and Health System Association, points out the problems hospitals and health care providers face with the scheduled medical assistance cuts, and provides a timely update on the medical malpractice crisis. Robert Swift from Ottaway News joins host Terry Madonna as our guest journalists.
