Legislative Review

Originally aired on July 13th, 2003

This week's Pennsylvania Newsmakers is a roundtable discussion of fiscal-year-end negotiations between Rendell and the legislature over a variety of legislative tasks still not completed--an expanded bill for slots at race tracks, the marriage of the Republican school district property tax reduction proposal and Rendell's state-wide plan, and the governor's economic development and education initiatives. Panelists are David W. Patti, President of Pennsylvanians for Effective Government, and Brad Bumsted of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Terry Madonna is host of the program.
