Squaring off are State Senator Jeff Piccola, the Republican Whip in the Senate, and State Rep. Michael Sturla, one of Governor Rendell's top Democratic supporters in the State House. The two legislators debate the merits of Rendell's two-part budget proposals, the strategy behind vetoing or blue-lining parts of the budget, and the merits of Rendell's property tax, school funding and economic development ideas. G. Terry Madonna, Director of the Center for Politics and Public Affairs at Millersville University, is host of the show--and guest journalist this week is Pete DeCoursey, state political reporter for The Harrisburg Patriot.
