Point Counter-Point on the Sine Die

Originally aired on December 8th, 2002

This week's Pennsylvania Newsmakers features "Point Counter-Point" with Republican State Senator Jeff Piccola (Dauphin County) and Democratic State Representative Mike Sturla (Lancaster City) who go toe-to-toe on the sine die session of the General Assembly. The two legislators debate the value of the session, what the legislature did and what it left undone, including property tax reform, election law changes, a state water plan, and the agenda of the incoming Rendell gubernatorial administration. Host Terry Madonna is joined by Philadelphia Inquirer Harrisburg reporter Tom Fitzgerald in quizzing the lawmakers.
