Rendell Austerity Budget Debated

Pennsylvania Newsmakers this week features a lively debate on the merits, timing and politics of Gov. Ed Rendell's budget submission on Tuesday, March 4-- the historic two part budget. Guests are three of the state's most important participants in the budget and political process -- Republican State Senator Robert Thompson who is Chair of the Senate Appropriation Committee, Democratic State Rep. Michael Veon who is the Minority Whip in the State House, and Chairman of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association Fred Anton. G. Terry Madonna, Director of the Center for Politics and Public Affairs at Millersville University, hosts the show.
